“The Regulators” Private Premiere

A group of distinguished guests gathered at Alamance Battleground Thursday night October 23 to view the premiere of “The Regulators” documentary. The event was planned and presented by the staff of the Alamance Battleground and the Alamance Battleground Friends.

ShutteRelease Films was honored to participate in the production of this documentary and appreciated the kind words and best wishes from all who attended the event.  It has been the hope of all involved in this production that “The Regulators” is both an effective teaching tool and a testimonial to the lives of the brave men and women who stood up for what was right.  From the feedback received at the premiere, these goals were met.

In his opening remarks, the producer and director Chris Laforet, thanked all involved from all the historic sites that participated in the filming. Along with Alamance Battleground’s participation, Tryon Palace, Old Salem, House in the Horseshoe, Bennett Place, and Cowpens National Battlefield in South Carolina were used as shooting venues. Representatives from the North Carolina Department of Cultural Resources were also present to accept our sincere thanks for the help received from so many of their staff.
